Who we are
The data controller is the operator of Adify. For privacy requests use our contact page.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, password hash), profile and business information you submit, listings and media, messages, technical logs (IP address, device, timestamps), and payment records handled by Stripe when you buy boosts or a business plan.
Why we use your data
We process this data to operate the marketplace, create and display listings, provide messaging, take payment, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. The legal bases are contract, legitimate interests in running a safe marketplace, and legal obligation where it applies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Processors may include Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (R2 storage for listing photos, and Turnstile bot protection where a form uses it), our hosting provider, and Sentry (error monitoring, which receives technical diagnostics such as the page and the stack trace when something fails). Other users see the listing and profile information you publish.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep account and listing data while your account is open. Deleting your account removes your listings, photos and contact details from the live site. Identity documents submitted for business verification are deleted within 90 days of the verification decision.
We keep backups so the site can be restored after a failure. Content you have deleted can still exist in a backup until that backup expires, and is not returned to the live site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
